Myles Holmes
Director of Youth
Myles was saved at the age of 11 at a Church in King City Ontario. It was there that he felt the call to ministry under the close discipleship and mentoring of his Youth Pastor. This calling was confirmed as the Lord gave him opportunity to serve in various roles in leadership, worship and youth.
Myles’ desire is to see the Gospel transform lives. He believes that true joy is found only as the good news of Christ is made known. He loves the message of the cross and desires to see people turn from the emptiness of this world to the fullness that is found only in Christ.
Myles’ passion for youth comes much from life experience. Growing up he experienced the blessing of close discipleship and biblical preaching through youth ministry. He also saw the trails and hardship that many students face day-to-day in their schools and workplaces. He believes only the cross can provide the upcoming generation with the joy the world continually is promising and is eager to see students living a life worthy of the Gospel.
Myles graduated with a Bachelor of Theological Studies (2012) at Toronto Baptist Seminary and is currently working on his Masters of Divinity. From 2012 to 2014, he has worked as Youth and Worship Director at Grace Church Newmarket. In August of 2012, he married his wife Amber and love their cat Mallow to pieces.
